The San Francisco Bay Railroad is a Class 3 short-line railroad that serves the City of San Francisco and the Port of San Francisco. We are independently owned and operated and our employees live and work in San Francisco. Our core business is moving various commodities for several shippers and the Port of San Francisco to and from our railyard for interchange with the Union Pacific Railroad. We have a large railyard and a large lay down area for your shipping needs. We can handle up to 300 rail cars for storage or transload services. We will provide 24 hour 365 days a year service to our customers.
